Definite Improvement to Beta FamilySearch Historical Records Collections

Following a lead from Randy Seaver, FamilySearch Beta Collection Improvements, check out the newest additions to the Historical Records Collections. As Randy noted, the columns have changed to add, not only the number of records, but the date the collection was last updated. There is also a new marker for recently added or updated records. Just when I was going to comment on the lack of such information. Rats, there goes another blog topic. (Just kidding). The Red Arrow shows the marker for the recently added or updated collections. The Green Arrow shows the "Last Updated" column and the Orange Arrow shows the number of collections.

Recently, FamilySearch has indicated that they will be adding records regularly without fanfare. It surely looks like this is going to happen since the number of collections has risen significantly in the last couple of days. The newer records include countries from Canada to Chile and from France to Germany.

The number of collections may make the present list format unwieldy. It will be interesting to see what comes next.
