FamilySearch has it own YouTube Channel

The first in an upcoming series of instructional videos has been loaded into the YouTube FamilySearch Channel. Called “Getting Started, Step 1 – Finding Easy Information (FamilySearch Genealogy). The short 3 minute video illustrates some intial basic steps in getting started with your family history. The viewer is encouraged to search their own memory, home records such as the family Bible and to look for old photographs. The video also encourages the viewer to talk to relatives and to record conversations with them. The instructions also include suggestions about how to ask questions to get a response other than yes or no.

This is a well done basic introduction with a link to the FamilySearch.org website. I will certainly be looking forward to future releases.
