All FamilySearch Family History Consultants have now been invited to join in the FamilySearch Family Tree program. Here is the wording of the invitation:
As a family history consultant, you should be aware of the new Family Tree on that we will be releasing to the public in the next few months. At this time we would like to invite you to use it before it releases to the general public. We need your participation to help us make it better.
Please keep in mind that features and menus may change at this stage of development, as your experience using the program also likely will
Once the features and functions are in place, the Family Tree will replace and will be freely and publicly available to all people around the world.
It appears that the change over to Family Tree from New FamilySearch will be done in the "next few months." The announcement includes instructions about how to activate an account.
