FamilySearch Family Tree Special Training Website

In a blog post dated 4 September 2012, FamilySearch announced the following:
FamilySearch has created a special training website to get you up-to-speed on how to use Family Tree. The site, located at www.familysearch.org/treetraining, gives you access to training videos, a reference guide, webinars, practice exercises, and much more. These training materials will help you be ready to assist the members of your ward and stake, as well as many interested members of the general public, in their own usage of Family Tree.
The link actually takes you to a list of resources in the FamilySearch.org Help Center. That list has been online for some time.  Here is a screen shot of the linked site:

The same site is accessed through the "Help" link on the FamilySearch.org web pages.

Additionally FamilySearch is providing a series of webinars for the Family History Consultants. Unfortunately, from my experience, many of the Family History Consultants don't know about the blog, aren't registered and don't receive any of the notifications from Family Search. For example, if you go back to the Help menu, upper right-hand corner of the FamilySearch.org pages, you will find a list shown above on the right in a block. The second option is Local Assistance. If you are signed into FamilySearch.org, by clicking on that link, you will get a list of Family History Consultants in your area. It is easy for any Family History Consultant, or anyone else for that matter, to see if their Family History Consultant is registered, by simply checking this link. The Local Assistance link will also give you a list of local Family History Centers.
