A Million Images in the Public Domain from the British Library

Image taken from page 57 of 'Bartholmew Fayre: a comedie, acted in the yeare, 1614. By the Lady Elizabeths Servants, etc'
Lorine McGinnis Schulze posted a note about the British Library putting a million or so images on line on the British Library's Flickr Acoount. The images are in HTML format and copy down as pages. You will have to figure out the best way to copy and use the images if you wish to do so. Here is the complete information on the above image:

Yep, it is from good old Ben Johnson. I haven't the faintest idea what any of this has to do with genealogy but they images are pretty cool and I will probably start sticking them in randomly here and there to liven things up a bit, as if this blog need livening up.
