Family History Library Catalog now completely on WorldCat.org

One of the last things I learned at the #RootsTech 2014 was that the entire Family History Library Catalog has been loaded into the OCLC World.Cat.org catalog. Here is a screenshot showing how the entries appear in the WorldCat.org catalog:


If you are unacquainted with WorldCat.org, you should be. This is consolidated catalog of over 70,000 libraries worldwide and has over 2 billion catalog entries. There is a also a special section of the WorldCat.org catalog website dedicated to genealogy. See oclc.org/go/en/worldcat-genealogy.html. Here is a list of the types of material cataloged on WorldCat.org pertaining to genealogy:
  • Account books
  • Autobiographies
  • Cemetery records 
  • Church histories and records
  • Civil War and other military records
