The seventh and final volume of "The Great Migration: Immigrants to New England 1634-1635" was published in 2011. My wife and I each have about 1/2 of our ancestors who were early settlers in Colonial New England, so we bought the 10 volumes of the two series as they became available and rely upon them constantly. We moved to Cambridge, MA in 1955, when I completed my term in the Air Force, so that I could attend law school. We joined the New England Historic Genealogical Society and would trudge up the hill from the Boston Commons subway station to use their old library, and we have continued to be members these almost 60 years.
