When I went into a band class, my grandson addressed me as Grandmother. The teacher thought that was not right. So class stopped and we had a Genealogy lesson and I have been known on the campus as Grandma ever since.<br />But the quirk was, a young man raised his hand and asked," What is a Grandma? I hear about them but have never had one". That was when the genealogy bug clicked in and I became everyone in that rooms extra Grandma, and years later if we are on the street they still say, "HI, Grandma." We have many children with out family in this so called modern world.
