Ancestry.com Beta ends -- New update now generally available

I got an email notice from Ancestry.com stating the following:
Thank you for participating in the Ancestry beta. We are grateful for your feedback and suggestions as we continue to improve the Ancestry experience. Due to the incredible amount of feedback we’ve received, we’re not able to respond to all of your comments, but we read and consider each remark that is sent our way.

We are pleased to announce that the new Ancestry site is now generally available to everyone. As part of this transition, the beta feedback and the messaging system was closed on Friday, June 5th. We will continue to accept feedback via the opt-out page as well as through Customer Support.

To learn more about the New Ancestry and to keep up-to-date on news about the site, check out this post in our Online Support Community. http://ancestryforums.custhelp.com/posts/93f9884516
I still find a connection to the Classic website in the pull-down menu under my name as I sign in, but I have found people who no longer have that link.

  1. I don't know what kind of feedback they got during the Beta-testing phase, or whether anything was changed due to that feedback. I am seeing mainly negative feedback to their blog posts, with no staff replies.

Splitting one page into 4 and making edits twice as difficult, deletion of crucial place-name segments, and disconnecting uploaded images from timeline events on the "Facts" page may be improvements for iPhone users, but for who else?
