The New FamilySearch Solutions Gallery

Rumors and discussions have been going on for some time that FamilySearch.org needed to upgrade/improve/update the old App Gallery. Finally, we have a newly updated "Solutions Gallery." The new iteration looks a lot better and is even up-to-date and functional. You can find a link to the Solutions Gallery at the bottom of the startup page on FamilySearch.org.

When you click on an icon for a product, you see something like this one for The Family History Guide.

You can see what others have said about the programs or products in the Review section.



Take some time to review the products and programs. You may be surprised at the quality and the variety of the offerings.

    You may find some apps missing from the Solutions Gallery that were present in the App Gallery. In order to be included, each product owner was required to sign a new contract. I don't know everything the contract included, but one stipulation was that all support for the product had to come from the product - Family Search was not to be the provider of the support. Some developers may not have signed yet, some may opt not to do so.
