Finding the lost infants

My daughter Amy gave me a link to a very touching story about finding two lost infants who died and were buried without any further records being created. From my experiences at the Mesa City Cemetery, this likely happened in a number of cases. You need to keep looking. Those infants are out there to be found. This is the link to the story "As Arranged." This is a classic and should be read by every researcher.

  1. Such a sad, sad story. But important to know that not all of the lives we will research are documented in ways we may realize. Thanks for sharing this tender story.

  3. I am Anne, the author of "As Arranged" which was published on the "Keepapitchinin" blog to which you linked above. I just wanted to say thank you for your kind comments and for linking to the post. It is a source of astonishment to me that the twins are now probably known to more people than they were during their short mortal lives; it also saddens me to think of so many others who lived, died and were buried in similar circumstances.
