A J Jacobs and the Global Family Reunion

A. J. Jacobs Keynote at RootsTech 2015
During the recent RootsTech 2015 Conference, I was able to meet and briefly talk with A. J. Jacobs, an author and journalist, the editor at large at Esquire magazine, and a commentator for NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday. He has given three TED talks with nearly three million views combined.

He is currently promoting the Global Family Reunion scheduled for June 6, 2015 to be held at the New York Hall of Science on the grounds of the World's Fair. The event is described as a Family Reunion meets a World’s Fair meets a music festival meets a TED conference. There will be talks by celebrities, scientists and comedians! Music! Food! Exhibits! Contest! Games for all ages! All of the proceeds of the event go to charities supporting Alzheimer's research. Here is a TED talk A. J. did on YouTube.com:

The Global Family Tree is being created in Partnership with  Geni | MyHeritage | Wikitree | FamilySearch | 23andMe | Family Tree DNA
