Oldest Footage of London Ever

Thanks to John D. Reid of Canada's Anglo-Celtic Connections for the link to this absolutely fascinating video.


I just subscribed to their channel also. I am very interested in the modern/historic comparisons. This is a must see video for its historic perspective.

  1. I loved this, but it made me feel a little eerie, - sort of nostalgic for the past. I am amazed that so much of modern London still looks like the 1920s. I would have expected after the bombing London took in WWII that many priceless statues, memorials, buildings, etc. would have been demolished. Maybe they rebuilt? Thanks for sharing
