FamilySearch Adds More Than 3 Million Indexed Records and Images to Collections from Brazil, Liberia, Japan, Peru, Philippines, and the United States
FamilySearch has added more than 3 million indexed records and images to collections from Brazil, Liberia, Japan, Peru, Philippines, and the United States. Notable collection updates include the 1,427,612 images from the U.S., Washington, County Records, 1856–2009, collection, the 150,972 images from the new Brazil, Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Cemetery Records, 1897–2012, collection, and the 148,828 indexed records and images from the Philippines, Pangasinan, Civil Registration, 1945–1981, collection.
Please be aware that the Family History Library has a special holiday schedule in place. From the middle of December through the first week in January, the library will have early closing hours. They will be closed the entire day on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years and on Martin Luther King day. Check the schedule of library hours to see when the library will be open during the holidays.
