Today I saw the first records show up on FamilySearch.org in a record search with images coming directly from Ancestry.com. Usually when you click on a record in FamilySearch.org when the record is on Ancestry.com there is a dialogue box telling you to go to Ancestry.com to see the record. So, this was unusual when we saw the record come up directly in FamilySearch. Fluke or the future? I must say that we were working on FamilySearch.org in the Mesa FamilySearch Library and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Church) had signed in with an LDS account.
Here is the image of the 1930 Mexico Census showing the notation courtesy of Ancestry.com
I suppose this could have been here a long time, but this was the first time we had seen this notation.
Interesting.
1930 New Jersey census, today!!

We were all wondering if the Mexican Census stuff was just some sort of test and that it might disappear in a day or two.
DeleteJust a note here James: I recently visited a FHC (like 3hrs travel there and back) at that center I could not access xxxx
Deletewhy because I was a volunteer and not a LDS enrollment but one who was there was kind enough to open their account and I was able to see what I was looking for so whether I tried to look via my comp or the FHC comp I had no access unless I had a LDS account.
